28.04.11 RDCPE Experts Participate in the 6th International Science and Practice Seminar for Electric Power Energy
On April 18th – 23rd, 2011, RDCPE representatives took part in the International Science and Practice Seminar for Electric Power Energy “Important Aspects of Ensuring Reliability, Safety and Effectiveness in Energy System, Grid and Substation Equipment Operations” (IES-6). The seminar was organized by the Executive committee of the CIS Electric Energy Board in collaboration with St. Petersburg Training Institute for Electric Power. This was the 6th time the seminar, by now a widely popular event in the electric energy community, took place.
27.04.11 Concept Blueprint of Software & Hardwire Suite for the Digital Substation Completed and Submitted to FGC UES for Approval
Per agreement # И-11-41/10, the experts of RDCE in collaboration with Energosetproekt Institute and Continuum + LLC have developed a Concept blueprint of hardware and software suite for the digital substation of Federal Grid Company. The product was completed and submitted to FGC UES for review and approval.

16.06.2017 A selective AR system was tested. The next step is its pilot implementation on the 500 kV Moscow energy ring

The automatic reclosing system for aerial cable lines (ARS ACL) passed functional tests successfully. The system is developed by the Scientific and Technical Center of FGC UES in cooperation with All-Russian Relay Research, Design And Technology Institute VNIIR as a part of the R&D program of the Federal Grid Company.

13.06.2017 FGC UES reconstructs the key power transmission line of the Republic of Tuva and builds a new section

FGC UES (a member of the Rosseti group) started reconstruction of a 220 kV Abaza  Ak-Dovurak power transmission line in Barun-Khemchiky district of the Republic of Tuva. This will increase the reliability of the transmission line that provides power exchange between the neighboring Republic of Khakassia and western regions of Tuva.

08.06.2017 St. Petersburg Energy Ring was equipped with the first Russian-made 330 kV current-limiting reactors

A 330 kV power transmission line Vostochnaya  Volkhov-Severnaya (from the side of a 330 kV substation Vostochnaya) was equipped with the first sets of Russian-made current-limiting reactors designed for a voltage of 330 kV. The power transmission line is a part of the 330 kV energy ring of St. Petersburg.

07.06.2017 At the “Case-in” Championship in Moscow, 94 student teams proposed solutions to the priority problem of grid complex, loss reduction

On May 30-31, Moscow hosted the final of the V anniversary International Engineering Championship “Case-in”. Within the framework of the Power Engineering League, FGC UES invited the participants to solve one of the most difficult problems of major electric power companies that is reduction of power loss, particularly, in 220-750 kV networks.

05.06.2017 FGC UES participated in SPIEF 2017

Delegation of FGC UES (a member of Rosseti Group) headed by the Chairman of the Management Board Andrey Murov took part in Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2017). The head of the Company took the floor at the discussion platform dedicated to social and economic development of the Russian Far East, he also visited a plenary session and held a number of working meetings.
