The structural unit's activities are focused on the development and implementation of innovative equipment, technologies and software products to improve reliability, energy efficiency, controllability, and observability of electric grid facilities, reduce losses and improve transmission line capacity.

The introduction of innovative equipment at electric grid facilities is carried out through R&D programs and pilot projects.

  • Bay controllers with distributed interlocking functions and IEC 6185081 protocol support.
