Testing and certification
The structural unit provides a full range of services in the field of qualification of electrical equipment, technologies, materials, and software and hardware systems for the Rosseti Group, verifies the compliance of items certified with the requirements of national and international standards, and develops regulatory and technical documents and company-specific standards (STO).
Key areas of the division's activities:
• Testing of high-voltage equipment and digital substation elements
• Testing of digital SAR elements, including verification of compliance with IEC 61850
• Qualification (quality control) of electrical equipment, materials and technologies
• Attestation (quality assurance) of digital equipment and systems for compliance with information security requirements
• Mandatory and voluntary certification of the Russian energy sector
• Development of regulatory and technical documents
• Implementation of the PJSC Rosseti Technical Policy
Since 2014, Rosseti R&D Center FGC UES
is cooperating with DNV GL-ENERGY (KEMA)
in the field of equipment testing, verification and certification in accordance with the IEC 61850 standard, which allows the integration of all protection, control, measurement and monitoring functions into a single system.
During the period of cooperation, seven Russian enterprises have received UCAlug 'Level A' certificates confirming the compliance of produced equipment with the IEC 61850 standard. Extensive work has also been performed to adapt the IEC 61850 standard to Russian specifics.
300 units of electrical equipment, fire-resistant materials and special clothing are tested annually
On average 20 units of electrical equipment are CERTIFIED annually
Over 200 equipment certification opinions are issued annually
Over the past 15 years, STC Rosseti FGC UES has prepared more than 2,000 documents for the certification of equipment, materials and systems used at the facilities of the Rosseti Group of Companies
